This site is for all those who love music and movies, volunteer at places throughout the community, are teaching up-and-comers, or are just cutting their teeth in the audio world. Welcome.
The purpose of this site is to offer simple, organized structure in the matter of listening. Being able to define and identify what it is you’re hearing, to be able to know when something “sounds good” (or more importantly why, it sounds good), or to just appreciate the material that is playing are all vital attributes for anyone who works, plays, and dreams in audio. This site won’t take the place of real world experience, but is intended to be a starting point in a life long journey of learning.
